Week 11
PSIM Models and Waveforms
I use my PSIM report and PI calculation file to revisit the DC-motor model, cascaded current-speed loops, and field weakening.

What I connect in this unit
In a PSIM model, the simulation step must resolve PWM edges and the electrical time constant. Reading waveforms causally from reference signal to current response and then torque-driven speed response makes connection and sign errors easier to find.

Technical anchor
Fixed step Delta t must be sufficiently smaller than switching period T_sw, and the time axis should show whether current and speed state updates use consistent sample instants.
How I review it
Stack reference, limiter output, motor voltage, current, and speed traces, then check the expected sequence: current changes first after a step, followed by a change in speed slope.
Connection to the full course
Unit 11 of 12. Unit numbers follow the control structure in the saved design files and do not claim attendance weeks.
