Magnetic Circuits
I revisit magnetic circuits, transformers, and rotating machines around my transformer report and calculation sheets.

What I connect in this unit
Magnetomotive force drives flux through a magnetic path, reluctance opposes that flux, and flux divided by area gives flux density. Because an air gap has low permeability, it often dominates total reluctance and changes both required MMF and stored energy for the same winding current.

How I review it
Enter core and air-gap lengths and areas separately, make a first calculation without fringing, and then check whether B enters the material saturation region.
