Theory, Cadence inputs, and tuned values
Ideal circuit calculations are separated from simulation archives that include substrate, layout, and tuning effects. The microstrip target is 3.5 GHz, but the recovered marker is at 3.7 GHz; the distinction is explicit.
- The 50 Ω, 270° microstrip uses alumina εr=9.9, h=0.5 mm, and tanδ=0.001.
- The 1 GHz L-section and two 3.5 GHz single-stub solutions are translated into physical lengths.
- Wilkinson theory starts with 70.7 Ω quarter-wave branches and a 100 Ω isolation resistor.
- The branch-line hybrid retains the archived 35.35 Ω and 50 Ω branch design.

Archive, incomplete work, and measurement
Cadence projects and licensed material are not published. The 3.7 GHz marker is not restated as exact 3.5 GHz validation. Homework 5 Ex. 12-3 has no identifiable final result and is classified as INCOMPLETE_WORK. Fabrication tolerance, connector launch, calibration, and VNA measurement are outside the evidence.
