Line calculations versus power-flow output

The core engineering task is evidence separation: reproducible line arithmetic, a solver-divergence archive, and policy figures must not be collapsed into one result. The line values were independently recalculated; divergence is retained only as debugging evidence.

  • Lossless Zc and SIL use 765 kV, 350 km, z=j0.3 Ω/km, and y=j4.6 µS/km.
  • Independent results are Zc≈255.38 Ω, SIL≈2.292 GW, and current≈1.729 kA.
  • Non-physical per-unit voltages and blackout state are not interpreted as real-grid performance.
  • PowerWorld 24 reran the saved 2214 MW `newcase.pwb` state and reproduced Blackout.
  • 2038 demand, peak, and capacity figures retain their report/source context.

Blackout diagnosis versus report values

The PowerWorld 24 rerun confirms a Blackout diagnostic for the saved 2214 MW state; it does not validate the report's 3000/3100/3200 MW stages or 5380 MW compensated case. Dynamic stability, protection, N-1, and production-grid validation are not claimed. Personal identifiers in the GUI are withheld.
